l’Association Québécoise de Physiothérapie Musculo-squelettique Avancée
is a non-profit organization whose mission is to train physiotherapists as experts in
musculoskeletal (MSK) health. Through the delivery of a continuously updated training
curriculum, based on the biopsychosocial model, we promote the development of
sound clinical reasoning among our learners and the use of clinical intervention tools
supported by recent research, including orthopedic manual therapy. In doing so, we
contribute to advancing physiotherapy as a leading profession and to raising the
standards of care provided to the population.
The Orthopaedic Division of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association (OD) improve their skills and service delivery through education, resources and networking. Continued professional growth and development is ensured through its evolving evidence informed curriculum, access to evidence
informed curriculum, access to information on best practices, and opportunities to collaborate and learn from peers. Built on a long history and reputation for excellence, it is the community for advancing orthopaedic physiotherapy in Canada.
